Just for the Bekster

Here's an update to entertain Bekki... just cuz I miss her :(
I miss everyone actually. Cerra got a boyfriend so I don't see or talk to her anymore... no I'm not jealous or bitter, she's just busy. She doesn't seem to answer phone calls or texts much and always cancelled plans so I stopped making them... I figure we'll do something eventually. She hasn't made it out to karaoke in 3 weeks now either... but that's ok she had lots to do and it's been me as the only girl in a big group of guys... not too shabby.
So my second semester of classes is almost at an end... Monday is my last day and the following monday the 3rd semester starts up. So thats sucks up funds pretty good too LOL... I won't miss school in the summer let me tell you. I went tonight and saw the Veggie Tales Rockin Live Tour... holy cow was that super... so much fun... I went with Amber and my friend Kris, and apart from being only one group of unkidded adults in a group of kids... we had fun :) it was a really good show and it was a pretty good price for the entertainment it had although the main girl had a voice tha tby the end of the show got through to that chalkboard part of my brain and if I could throw my shoe that far... yeah... wouldn't have been pretty... but she was cute and she did a good job :) although I think one of the male dancers was a flamer which is odd for a christian show but perhaps he was just really exuberantly happy... and feminine :s hehe
Yes, I'm still single... I choose to stay that way for now too... I have a couple interested parties but I can't seem to bring myself to have the same interest back... I really just don't want to... I've been told that its ok to not want to and I'm still young. I told my grandma that I could be happy to be single forever and not care and she said she saw me as wanting a family in future but believed I really could be happy on my own... seee I knew I liked that one :p hehe
So anyways, I'm heading myself off to bed as I have to get up early for a car appointment... yeah I know 8:00 am on a Saturday morning burns but I have a lot to do tomorrow.
I'm finally getting into interesting stuff in class... we talked about the difference between lipomas and cancer tumors... it was a super interesting class... I'm really enjoying it... which is good cuz it'd be an expensive wast eof time otherwise. I'm also really liking my job, I know ODD eh? and I'm doing quite well at it if I do say so myself, although I find it easier to slack when you are in charge of whatever happens... I catch myself though :p
I'm hoping to get some weights this weekend so I can start lifting weights again... my arms are getting flabby now that I'm not in a warehouse... and my wrist has started, as of yesterday, KILLING ME! I have no idea why and its just my wrist so no like carpal tunnel or anything... hopefully it goes away, I'll try to give it a break this weekend :)
I haven't really much else to write about I suppose... that and I'm tired... maybe I'll attempt to update this more regularly but my babble is getting tiresome... what can I really write? YEah I go out almost ever y night... oh who am I kidding I go out all the time I'm always out doing stuff but its really never that interesting to write enough about to share on here... Veggie tales was interesting but reall yhow much can I say about giant singing vegetables that you don't already know? THE COSTUMES WERE AWESOME!! it looked like the cartoon! those guys are my heros... hehehe
ANyways, off to bed I go... hope ya'll (whoever still reads this) are doing well and I'll see if I can't round up some funner (my word shut up) stuff to write about soon.

Wow am I slow

So apparently I haven't written in awhile and my "busy" excuses won't fly cuz its become a generic statement for me... of course I'm busy... I'm always busy... when am I not busy?
Right now I'm supposed to go see a movie with someone and I'm still dressed in my work clothes without any makeup... I got like 10 minutes its all good. Thought I'd drop a little note on here so ya'll didn't think I fell off the planet or nothing... not that any of you probably check this REGULARLY anymore because u got sick of being frustrated by the lack of funness on this blog now.
I don't even really have all tha tmuch to say. I like my job actually, which is a lovely change. The Dr. is super we have lovely conversations about human health medicine vs. animal health medicine... I think we're both learning new stuff and its pretty cool to teach someone who took years and years of schooling... he knnows nothing about animal health except that which can be transferable with human health... its fun :)
School is going well... I still enjoy what I'm taking and I joined the Association that the daytime class of my field started. I am now officially a member of the Veterinary Hospital Assistants Association and will probably do a little advertising for fundraisers here just for fun hehe :)
Cerra and my 1 year e-wedding anniversary is this Saturday so we're putting together a party. Originally I had wanted to do an actual reception but we were too unmotivated to get a move on with that and missed out. Now we are going bowling... not exactly the same but u know... good group of people to toss balls and some pins... sounds good to me.
Anyways, thats really all I have to add at this time, so if you will excuse me I have to get ready to watch the Shaggy Dog hehee

While the Dr.'s away

The assistant will play... ok so not really and no I'm not writing this from work... from home... at 1:37 am after karaoke. Now Cerra and I and what appears to be quite the group of people, go every week to karaoke now and love it. I've finally gotten up the nerve to sing by myself and despite being quite sick today (I feel like I'm swallowing razor blades in my throat :s and woke up feeling like I had been hit with a truck :s) I decided I'd sing a bunch of songs with Cerra and of course my usual one song alone... GO ME! So I sang My Give A Damn's Busted... which of course I didn't do too bad at even though it kinda hurt to sing... it was still fun.
Anyways, so the Dr. left at 5am this morning for his trip for two weeks so I get to make my own hours at work and do whatever I feel needs to be done. Today I spent like 2 hours on the phone with Telus trying to set up the voicemail in the office only to be told a million different instructions over the phone and finally in the end getting a tech who said there was nothing I could be doing about it because I'm from BC and I have a multi-line phone and they'd have to fix it on their end... well ok could u tell the other 6 people I've phoned into... wait more than that... lets see like 5 people the first time and at least 1-2 each additional time up to 6 phone calls. It was a super good waste of time... geez do I hate hold buttons now (although I figured out how to work the one on my phone in the office... GO ME!)
So apart from fights with the computer and the phone it wasn't overly productive at work today LOL... I'm hoping to down some nyquil and head to bed so I can get rid of this stupid sore throat before it turns into something horrible that I will have to spend tons of money on to get rid of... stupidness... Tonsils are over rated let me tell you.
anyways, so that's my cue to head to bed... hope all is well with ya'll hehehe
