SHERBROOKE 2005!!

WOOT! IT's finally here :)
Tonight is movie night and then Brooke and I will attempt to get some sleep (I have been threatened/tempted with a hot Tautie (sp?) to help me sleep) and get up at like 4am to travel our butts up to Vernon/Lumby :) Apparently we are stopping at many places along the way for pictures and such... am really excited!!! :) need to charge my batteries I think? my digital camera must be ready and willing to go... as well as my video camera (which has been charging most of the week bahaha) I am so excited! We get to go see cowboys at the cowboy festival in Vernon... and maybe check out a bar/tavern called MOE'S! we might go opal mining and look for Ogopogo. We will have loads of fun picture stories and video memories to exhibit to people upon our return (I use exhibit cuz I work in the legal field and it pops in my mind first). So exciting.
On Tuesday, CERRA comes back (for those of you who know... Cerra is my e-wifey) so I have a lot of stuff to look forward to. Tonight I'm going to be going non-stop to get everything ready for the weekend... need to make a list of stuff to do. ugh.
I probably won't have time to update my blog until next week (not that anyone makes a habit of reading it every day... but you know) but I'll see about getting pictures put on it and it'll probably be pretty long with weekend stories.
Hope everyone has a great weekend, and I'll definitely post any interesting events upon my return. (I may even get a 5 minutes chance to post something mid-weekend, but no promises hehe)
CHEERS!

New Cell Phone

So my weekend was pretty good... as far as I can remember... my brain is pretty occupied with my new cell phone... Friday night I tried a new pasta place by my house (well new to me not to the area)... it was really good :) watched Hostage with Bruce Willis... not my type of movie :
Saturday, my mom and I drove down to Bellingham and went shopping... I spent quite a bit of money and we were sure we would be pulled over at the border (we were down 5 hours and totalled like $70 which is more than double what we normally spend in that time) and have to pay duty... but apparently cute mother and daughter combos aren't threatening and can get away with a bit more... cuz they just let us pass through hehe :) SWEET! Saturday night was a lovely BBQ dinner at a friends... and the food was soooo good :) then Rob and I went and saw Charlie and the Chocolate factory in the little theatre by my house. For being a cheaper theatre it really wasn't that bad :) the movie however, I found to not be as good as the original. If it didn't have a movie to live up to, it wouldn't have been a bad movie at all, but the original was one of my childhood favorites, and I found this one to just not be the same... it also missed a few parts that I found quite critical and entertaining, and elaborated a bit too much on other parts. The overall movie was quite good however, and I don't doubt I'd be happy enough to own both copies in my DVD collection in future. Finally, Sunday was a beautiful day here and I spent it with friends in the park... it was a really relaxing and great day. I then went to future shop and picked up my new toy... It's so cute and very exciting... so many options... as opposed to my Nokia 5190 I've been using for 4 years... I even have vibrate... and camera with flash... and countdown option... yep that's right... it will give you a countdown to specific events :) so I put my Vernon trip in as my first event :) WOOT! WE LEAVE SATURDAY AT 4:00-4:30 :) I AM SO EXCITED! this week will be spent buying necessary items for the trip... cleaning my house for movie night Saturday and attempting to make both CD's for the road trip WOOT! and putting the MacKenzie trip on one video with the karaoke night... so much to do,.... plus I have Volleyball on Wednesday :) my summer is uber exciting... :)
and ya'll with picture messaging function... better watch out... I could send some "interesting" pics from SHERBROOKE 2005 hehehe

Cheers

Short Note

I heard some of you laugh at the title of this... IT IS POSSIBLE FOR ME TO WRITE A SHORT NOTE!
I haven't that much to say anyways. I'd like to note that I am SO excited about next weekend. Friday night is movie night and I'm hoping to be able to put both our karaoke night and our MacKenzie weekend on one video so we can watch in a continuous line hehe... :) then Brooke and I are leaving at like 4:30 am (ohhh I know that burns but I'll be awake enough with excitement!) to go to Vernon. We are stopping in Kelowna and probably at every fruit stand we see... :makes mental note to take cooler in car: EEEEEEEEE! and then we will hit up Lumby... drop our stuff off at my family's place and perhaps kidnap my aunt (or take her truck if need be) and go to the Cowboy festival... :jumps up and down in excitement!: Sunday we are hoping to go opal mining or perhaps try and track down ogopogo (we might do that Monday on our way home) ohhh the many possibilities. There are orchards to visit, wineries to visit and jammeries to visit... dude... we're gonna need to put a weeks worth of visiting into 3 days... but we can do it. Who needs sleep?
Anyways... last night was our first official volleyball game and it was a lot of fun, even though we didn't do as good as we would have hoped. By the end I think we got enough practice to properly figure it all out... and I stopped being "afraid of the ball" as Rob put it. (I even managed to hit it with my knee hehehe I don't know how?!)
Tonight Brooke and I are going shopping to see if we can't find fun things to take on our trip... :) we already have cowboy hats... we'll fit right in.
Other than that... not much is going on. :) it's been pretty laid back for me lately... I even managed to unpack some more this week... I KNOW! next I'm hoping to set up my scrapbooking room... perhaps this weekend? (yeah right... I know... I know!)

Cheers ya'll ... hope this weekend brings lots of sunshine (and not sunburns... which are healing nicely... back of the knee is an evil burn though).

The sun... brightens my day... burns my skin! :o|

Well I think my title pretty much explains it hehe. This weekend I went camping out at Bridal Falls Camperland with my aunt, uncle and Rob. There was so much traffic heading out to Merrit on Friday night, it took us awhile to get out to the campsite... and it was raining (evil). But it turned out so nice by Sunday. Friday night was pretty much a loss when we got there... no fire in the rain. We set up the tent outside, and I'm very impressed with how dry we stayed in the tent (it was sandwhiched between tarps but all the same..) Saturday the rain had pretty much ceased and we went out garage saling in Chilliwack... I bought a blow gun with little plastic darts (I think Rob may have absconded with it now hehe) and we bought some yummy ice cream and flavored coffee creamers  the creamers are from heaven let me tell you... Every time my aunt and uncle go to stay in Camperland, I might just go visit and stop in at that place and buy more coffee creamers... I may become addicted. :twitch:
Anyways, Sunday the sun finally came out full force and we went out to pick up some of the larger garage sale items my aunt and uncle had bought (a bar for instance!) and I put on my shorts :gasp: I KNOW! SHORTS! and my aunt commented that I had really white legs and I needed to go out and tan them. She even suggested I not put sunscreen on my legs so that they would tan (HAS SHE MET ME?) so needless to say... I sparsely covered my legs with spray on stuff (I'm not dense enough to go out with nothing bahaha) So yeah... anyways... I'm burnt : I forgot the back of my knees... so they are crispifried... that might be fun if they peel (ew ew ew) now imagine every position u move into... what the back of your knees touch... yep... I could tell you right now what they touch at any point in the day :owchie: I burnt my back nicely (not as bad as last time I believe) despite having 30 sunblock on : and my legs have various burns in multiple places... intermixed with the lovely white patches of non-tanned non-burnt skin... should be a fun looking tan... UGH! It was an awesome weekend anyways... and very relaxing. I forgot how much I liked my camp fires... and marshmallows  I can't wait to go back... or go camping early next month as planned. :) was so fun!
Hope everyone had a great weekend and got to see the sun a bit too (perhaps not in the same way as I... OW!)

Cheers.

Ewwww... SICKO!

Yep... that's right. I am sick : and even better... I'm sick and at work... and even better... I'm sick and at work AND ALONE IN FRONT OFFICE! yep. I came to work because I'm covering for a manager by opening the office and because part of our office is away today, and part is running late... so it's just me... crappy old me sitting at my desk answering every phone call and taking every courier... hrmmmm. So anyways, I thought I would make a bit of an update on recent happenings, and I'll try and keep this shorter... mostly because I'm exhausted and have a short attention span today, and because apparently some people who read my blogs have short attention spans too... or in some cases... bad eyes :op
As for our old rental place, my dad went back with my digital camera and the guy that lives in the bottom suite next to our old one actually went through the house FOR MY DAD and took pictures for him. Told him we left the house in amazing shape, extremely clean... so now we have a witness should we need one... and pictures :) the guy told us we had been paying way too much for such a tiny space and the landlord is a creep for doing this. We thought it best to warn them too, just in case they ever planned on leaving LOL.
Volleyball was last night, and despite being a bit sick last night (and having a gibbled foot for some unknown reason... which I will figure out and get rid of as quickly as possible... aqua shoes perhaps?) I had a LOT of fun. Ok, so I'm not the best at it... and my skills need a bit of improvement... but I still was overall pretty good :) I am a little sore today, but nothing like what I was expecting to be... maybe my muscles like me finally? LOL AND NO BRUISES... WOOT! :tries to dance in chair and decides to do it another day:

So it's like 16 more sleeps until my road trip with Brooke... :) LOOK OUT VERNON/KELOWNA/LUMBY/OGOPOGO here we come... YEAH!

See... now that was a shorter blog eh? and I think I managed to get most everything in there without the bits of detail, but long story made short works too hehehe :)

Cheers.

*Frustrated*

Wow! I posted and a whole day has gone by without a comment :gasp: how could that be?
But that's not why this blog is titled *Frustrated*... there's a much better reason. I have never known my family to be too stupid or gullible, but currently I am starting to think we were too preoccupied with moving to properly demonstrate our effectiveness as geniuses hehe (jk... did I even spell that right?!) We trusted that since we had so far had no great problems or arguments with the landlord at our old place (New West)... that we would have no problems once we moved out. Apparently we were wrong. Not only had the old house been an absolute pain to live in (as anyone knowing me at the time could attest to) but we did a lot of work and complained very little... even when it came to having silverfish (disgusting little bugs) all over our house... in clothes, in beds, in drawers, on counters, in every box... even in my cedar chest... BLECH! but every spring our basement would flood : we had a small hot water tank to go between the three separate sections (and families, if you call the other sections that) and our section was furthest away, meaning I have become very used to cold showers! :shudder: Anyways, besides all this we lived there 4 years and did improvements to the place (when we first moved in the whole bottom section was open to the laundry room... this meant that the people from the suite next store could walk through the laundry room right into our house, especially my room, at any time they so chose. At the time we moved in, there was a nice lady next door and it wasn't a problem.) we built a wall to separate our house from the laundry room, WITH THE LANDLORDS PERMISSION, but he insisted we build a storage locker in the laundry room for the other suite as enclosing our area would mean they could not access the other storage locker (yep that's right, their storage locker was in our house! how'd ya like them apples?) so not only did my dad pay for all the lumber and supplies to build a wall AND THE STORAGE LOCKER, he had to do exactly to the landlords specifications... the landlord even drew out a sketch. Not complaints. My dad fixed the stove when the landlord refused to, sent the bill to the landlord and received no reimbursements from the landlord... no complaints. And now, after spending HOURS upon HOURS cleaning the house before we left so no trace of our existence was really left in that house... my dad FINALLY gets ahold of our old landlord last night after leaving MANY messages (our officially date to move out was the 30th of June...) and the landlord proceeds to yell at my dad about holes in the wall, the were there because the CABLE GUY put them in so we could have cable in the house *ugh!* and then tells dad that he did not authorize or KNOW ABOUT the storage unit and wall/door we had put up 3.5 years ago... I say pardon? Yep... those were his reasons for not giving back our damage deposit. Stupidness. So dad said that was fine, we'd take them to court over it as he really didn't have any grounds to stand on for those charges. My dad even offered to come take the storage area down, as he paid for the wood anyways, and the landlord said he could not and was not allowed in the house (wonder if he will do something stupid to the house and blame it on us). My dad might try tonight to talk to the people in the suite next to us (and warn them) and see if they will let us in the laundry room so he can take pictures of the storage unit : The thing that gets me is that he increased the value of our part of the house by making it enclosed and private so that people with access to the laundry room (which after the nice lady next door moved out, became really weird crack victim people and any and all of their friends who had laundry as the machine was constantly running and we had to fight for hot water and the laundry machines every day!). Can you imagine those people (who had huge raging yelling matches under our windows... I am sure I even heard him hit the lady who was not supposed to be living there anyways... and scream really horrid words to the whole neighborhood :shudder: they were scary people... and the thought of them having access to my room any time they wanted :shudders again: eeeeewwww... I wouldn't have stayed :
So that is my rant about landlords... the worst part is we did not take any pictures when we left :sigh: heaven forbid we actually have a nice landlord who noticed how much work we put into the place and thought what nice tenants he had :( but it seems they are greedy evil people... the house was a much better place after we left... can't they be thankful at how much easier it might be to rent it now? agh. Whatever... Que Sera Sera.

Anyways, onto other things... tomorrow is the first night of summer volleyball league and I am uber excited! I am going with Rob tonight to buy shorts... YEP THAT'S RIGHT FOLKS! U HEARD IT HERE FIRST! SHORTS! I WILL BE WEARING S-H-O-R-T-S!!! my legs will show?!?!? maybe they will get a tan!? bahaha *Falls off chair laughing* yeah... right. My only tan comes in a can LOL and then I look like an oompa loompa with a skin condition :sigh: but no worries... I will be wearing sun screen (before I get evil comments on being out in the sun trying to tan) I, myself, am not one who wishes to have skin cancer... and I burn so easily (although my legs don't... go figure?) that sunscreen is a must I'm afraid. But anyways, wish me luck with that :)

I suppose that's really all I have to write about now... yeah I guess my life is that boring? This weekend I am going camping with Rob and my Aunt and Uncle in Bridal Falls (camperland) and I'm pretty excited. We are gonna plop down a tent in their campsite (they don't pay anything because they are lifetime members) and we can use the pool/hot tub/ pool tables... water slides... mini-golf... wow! the possibilities are endless... I'm hoping perhaps to see about going garage saling or such with my aunt on Saturday morning... I've never been garage saling out that far before hehe... I wonder what useless junk I can find for my house... yeah I packrat a little but it's fun for me!!! :)

Hope ya'll have a wonderful tuesday... wish me luck in finding a pair of shorts I may actually want to wear :gasp: ohh the horror of blinding people with my bare white skin :

Cheers.

Monday mornings burn :(

Alright, so I figured I'd let everyone in on my not so awesome weekend. Don't get me wrong, I did get out and do stuff... but because of a pretty bad day on Friday... I ended up carrying my bitterness through the weekend and turning it into frustration that certain people ended up with. Yep... I don't normally do that... once I leave work I leave work and everything behind but perhaps the lack of sleep over the past few weeks, and the burning of getting up at 5:30 am and the horrible realization that even if I wanted to take a day off (just a day mind you) to do anything at all... I couldn't until September... yep that's right... I am covering for someone, and because my boss hates covering for people... only one person is allowed away at a time. : (see and the bitterness ensues!) I ended up taking a nap on Friday afternoon when I got home, thinking this would ease the annoyances I had... but instead I believe it caused more problems, as my camping trip ended up being cancelled (a lot to do with weather conditions I'm sure) mostly because of lack of planning and such... :sigh: So Friday night I went over to my aunt and uncles to keep my uncle company as he hurt himself by falling down and was equally as bitter so I figured misery enjoys company and I picked up a chocolate blizard for him and spent the evening trying out his new exercise machine and watching movies with my aunt. (Mr. Mom is pretty darn funny!)... ohh that new total gym my uncle bought.... IT BURNS! that thing is so seriously insane! I woke up Saturday just hurting... a lot from not getting over volleyball before abusing my arms more with a total gym. I am sad to report I can not even do one push up on that gym machine :sigh: but my legs are totally strong!! it was fun! Saturday I ended up driving out to Harrison Hot Springs with Amber (instead of going camping, as it rained BUCKETS just before we left). It was gorgeous out there... not too hot or cold and not raining at all. They had the festival of the arts on and we looked at all sorts of neat stuff. Went for a walk around the water; observed some guy seranading a girl behind a bush LOL and took pictures of the backsides of the sand castles : hehe We ended up at some ma and pa type restaurant overlooking the water and the food was REALLY good... it wasn't too expensive either and the atmosphere was pretty cool. We went shopping in the little shops around the main road and then drove back to Whonnock :) I ended up just heading home and watching a movie with my mom (The Notebook, I own a copy and I love that movie). My mom was not too impressed with me... as she bawled for almost the entire ending... and then told me she couldn't believe I had made her watch that movie... all the while I'm thinking, Gosh I like this movie : maybe I missed something? LOL

Sunday, I spent my entire morning in bed as I was hoping some plans would just fall into place, but alas they didn't and I got frustrated and ended up inviting a friend out for lunch. I hadn't seen him in ages, well at least since I got my sub installed I believe, and he has a great dane named Chanelle whom I love to pieces... she's such a sweetie, but GOSH does she ever shed in the summer... I swear I could have made a tinkerbell out of the fur coming off her yesterday *tinkerbell being Paris Hilton's chihuahua*... just needed to add a bow to the pile of fur on the floor! :

I ended up buying Priscilla Queen of the Desert as I was told on numerous occassions by people that it was the original of To Wong Fu, Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar; which is one of my mom's and my favorite movies... it's really hilarious! But this older version was definitely no comparison... I ended up walking away from it to talk to someone on the computer... only coming back and forth bits for certain songs and such... I was disappointed :sigh: but the ending was definitely better than I had anticipated after watching the first half of the movie (which was really quite boring).

That was pretty much my entire weekend... yeah I didn't do a lot : I didn't unpack anything more... and I still don't have a scrapbook room :sigh: yeah I know I'm slow. BUT I CLEANED MY BATHROOM on Friday night!! hehe u should all be so proud.

So as it turns out... the person two spots above me in work is going for a second interview for a job in accounting at some pulp company thing. So it looks like she could be leaving us, possibly giving me the chance of moving up... which I may or may not do. (I'm not sure if I'd enjoy that position at all... I definitely might have to kill people!) I'm not sure staying here at all would be a good idea, I can't even answer my phone anymore... and if I do I can't talk for long as phones now frustrate me : I'm not sure if Mavis remembers my obsession with talking on the phone when I was younger but over the last year and a bit I have decided I despise answering any phones... that comes as a direct result of stupid people on the end of the phone when it rings here (which further makes me cringe)... so alas... perhaps I need a job with less phones.

So anyways, Wednesday is the first volleyball game of the season... and I think my arms are practically healed after the brutal beating on Thursday and the abuse of Friday night muhahaha... and I've decided instead of buying a gym membership that I will just go visit my aunt and uncle and use their equipment, and then follow it up with a hot tub soak perhaps... although I do not normally like hot tubs : either way... no gym useage fee for me bahaha (plus they have a gazelle machine that no one uses but I quite like!). So perhaps I should make a bold attempt at setting up a time for that hehe like Monday's and Thursday nights I go visit/exercise in Whonnock hehe... kill two birds with one stone... and get muscles!! :) and Wednesdays will be my volleyball nights. I'd have to switch from Mondays to Tuesdays in the fall as I start classes at the end of september on Mondays and WEdnesdays... I'm both excited and anxious about that... but I'm thinking it will be a good thing (I sound like Martha Stewart)...

alright so this blog was mostly useless blabber to fill my work morning with something interesting to do, besides work, haha! Hope everyone had a great weekend... and I will hopefully hear from ya'll soon.

Cheers!

Ow my arms

Ok so I just came home from volleyball on the beach and immediately jumped in the shower so I could extract (or let the water extract) all the particles of sand from regions it should not have gone :oS and I noticed that my arms are weird colors now. They were the brightest red ever while playing volleyball, looked like I had gotten such a sunburn (and I kinda wished, since it was painful enough to have been a sunburn, that a tan would eventually form from it, but alas no tan) but instead of a lovely shade of tanned brown I now have grossness... blotches of purple intermingled with red dots of broken blood vessels : it's a lovely sight that I noticed while having my nice warm shower ... (gosh do warm pjs and slippers feel good right now)... I immediately, thinking I had some kind of blood disorder, went to ask my mom if I should be seeking medical attention or at least a good coverup? but she said it was just because my arms weren't used to it, which I completely agree with. It's not often that I pummel my arms with round objects until the pain is too much to bear and I could go head to head with a lobster for the brightest color red contest. But the blotchy purpleness and red spots (not to mention the lovely bruises on my thumb??) are just nasty... so I suppose after a couple of weeks of some good volleyball beatings to my arms... they will just toughen up... maybe I'll even get a tan and my skin won't look so pasty white... although I'm hoping it'll be a secret weapon of defence whilst playing volleyball... as our opponents will be blinded by the immense sunlight reflecting off my albino like skin :) one can hope for a good purpose to lack of tanned skin :sigh:
Either way I am in for some pain tomorrow, as my right arm has already started seizing up and I had fun trying to sign my name to my credit card slip at dinner... it was a tough job just keeping the pen on the paper.
In case you are curious... I am in no way complaining about any of it... I had an awesome time... and I think I was better than I thought I would have been after 6 years of inactivity (as my bruised and battered arms would account for) although apparently my flicking type of setting is not up to standard :op and to think I spent so many high school years perfecting it :sigh: ahhh well we can always improve on ourselves?
So I suppose that's it for tonight... I should be heading to bed soon anyways. I was going to clean my bathroom but have decided I am too sore and tired and will do it tomorrow and in case you are wondering it's not that dirty... I'm just ridiculously excited about cleaning it with my new products. I'm not an anal clean freak but organization and cleanliness are important to me :) hehe
Hope everyone has a great Friday! Cheerios DAAAAAAHHLINKS!

It's so much faster writing from home

I decided since I was waiting for my load of laundry to dry (I left the house thinking it was already dried and came back to take it out and fold it and it wasn't... ARGH! but that's what I get for not checking) so... so much for my early early bedtime :sigh: so now I'm waiting for the first load to dry so I can fold it and put it away while I put the second load on to dry and go to bed... well that was probably uber boring to read... moving along...
I really didn't have an exciting day so I haven't much to report, which means people are probably wondering to themselves why I'm even bothering to write this blog entry... and basically it's just to prove to Mavis that I can write lots of entries and not forget about my blog :p muhahaha
I CLEANED TODAY and unpacked! yep that's right... I organized my bathroom so all my nailpolishes are together with my manicure stuff (sounds anal but makes me feel so much better to have a little organization in my chaos) and put all my makeup in a container... and I went and bought bathroom cleaning stuff :) first time I've ever bought my own. My mom said I could steal hers but I wanted my own heehe I'm anal about the smell of certain stuff... so I bought my own laundry soap too *so proud* actually it's more a shared laundry soap cuz I stole all theirs for the vast loads of laundry I've been doing lately (I mean who wants to fold and put away wrinkled, dirty laundry LOL). I also unpacked like 5-6 boxes tonight *does little dance* IT'S STARTING TO LOOK LIKE I HAVE A BEDROOM AND A LIVING ROOM NOW! and last night I put together my scrapbooking table and moved my bookshelf by myself and only came away with minor injuries... and for anyone who really knows that... THAT IN ITSELF IS QUITE A FEAT!

I have been invited to join a summer volleyball league... and so... with the hope that I don't gigantically suck at it, as I haven't played in years and years, I am quite excited!
I am also very excited about my impending (that sounds like it should be followed by doom) road trip to the Okanagan. My friend Brooke (who reads my posts... and I'm happy to report has signed up just to reply to them bahahaha) and I are heading up in my car to Vernon (and to see Ogopogo hehe) for the long weekend to go to the cowboy festival in Vernon and stay with my family in Lumby. We are planning on singing car karaoke and doing some opal mining. We are also going to hunt out some fun wineries and fruit stands and bring home lots of homemade preserves :) I have even suggested we bring lots of crackers in the car *u need to tesst the preserves too u know! ;) * mmmmm jams and jellies and fruit and wine *I'm not a huge wine fan but some are tolerable and I like them!* other than that... I don't know how much fun stuff I have planned... but I seem to always be busy and I'm always having fun :) but then... that's my life in general... I even made unpacking fun... I made paper balls out of all the fragile wrap hehehe I didn't have a basket to play with though :(

In september I get to start my Veterinary Hospital Assistant courses and I'm both anxious and nervous... I'm hoping in a way it'll be challenging (make it worth the money I spent) but at the same time I don't want to challenging that I have to give up any form of a life in order to study to make it past the first semester : wish me luck... I haven't used that much of my brain in a really long time.

Hope everyone is enjoying their week so far :) the weekend is on it's way *more for Bekki cuz Oz is a day ahead hehehe*

Cheers.

AGH!!!

It's taken me like 20 minutes just to be able to get to the posting point... argh... SOOOOO slow this computer is... but mostly with just this site... I really don't think they communicate well together... they should seek some professional help :sigh:
Ok...so now that I have finally found my way to the posting page *DANCES IN CHAIR* I can finally write what's going around my brain... although all day I've been humming multiple songs in my head... I am my own radio station sometimes... currently playing is Hollaback girl by Gwen Stefani... next up will be ??? Gwen Stefani? she won't leave my brain suddenly!! :sigh:

SO! today at work we got surprised with ICE CREAM DAY! YEAH!!! which really just means I eat way too much ice cream (cuz dairy is good for the intolerant... ugh!) with chocolate sauce and then I get really hyper and people my office threaten to kill me... well not literally... but duct tape is mentioned SEVERAL times. So after a morning full of expropriation documents and several mistakes on my part (I hate expro docs and I usually find some interesting way of messing up... then spending more time trying to fix what I messed up... I despise them!) So I made myself a lovely bowl of chocolate ice cream, with chocolate sauce and caramel sauce :drools: then followed it up with chicken club pizza... yup... I ate my dessert first... I am that evil :evil grin:

So last night I had to go back to my grandmas to feed and let Bailey out, but because I had someone drop me off at the skytrain with a promise to pick me up... I was stuck without a ride when they cancelled the picking me up part. Which was fine I suppose... needed the exercise. For those of you who don't know Whalley... it's scary.. it's like the Surrey version of the downtown east side... :shudder: well that's what I had to walk through to walk to my grandmas (and yes there are buses but I hate buses and I needed the walk) so I ended up taking the longest way possible to avoid most of whalley on my walk... it ended up taking me an hour and I walked about 21 Surrey blocks (so mavis knows... from the King George Station to like 108 & 148). It was a nice walk I suppose... it started raining on me a bit and I didn't have a coat or umbrella so thankfully I like the rain, but all the same. Yeah and after my run in on Friday night with some punks in their car... I was very nervous of walking up 100th avenue in Whalley : but I did it... I of course kept writing text messages to certain people so they knew where I was and that I was ok... sooooo.. now I am back to riding the west coast express (which I then walk home from... about 30 minutes walk... AM WAITING FOR THE FAT TO DROP OFF!!! ... still waiting??)

So my mission this week is to find the floor of my living room... I know it's there... somewhere under all those moving boxes that have been sitting there awhile :blushes: have been so busy I haven't had the chance to put stuff away... plus I don't really know where it all goes yet :sigh: but it will be sorted out soon cuz every time I walk into that room I wanna cry. When we first moved in I did so well with setting it up and keeping it clean and it looked like a living room. Then my dad decided that since it was the first place he entered when he came home with loads of boxes... that's where everything landed... now there are only small pathways around the room... and my treadmill is empty... not that it has been used in days... I used nature most recently BUT I WILL BE ON THE TREADMILL TONIGHT *I hope*.

So I suppose now I should get back to work... ugh! could someone take my eyes out with a spork please? when will the ice cream kick in? I need a happy sugar rush to make it through all this expro junk on my desk (not to mention the rest of the work is piling up... sometimes I think my work will make me irriversibly bitter... is that a word? LOL)

Ohhh the song on my internal radio just changed... now I'm walking on Sunshine... WHHHOOOAHHH! I'm walking on sunshine... WHOOOOOOOOOAHHHHH and don't it feel good. HEY! alright now... and don't it feel good?! HEY!
^ apparently according to an online computer test awhile back... that was my theme song for life... hehe I approve... I love it... especially the FIF version.

cheers ya'll.

Still learning

Ok, so I am still learning how to use this program and it is SOOOOO slow to use on this computer at work (I know... perhaps I shouldn't while at work... but alas... TOO BAD!)
So let me respond to the fact that I got so many responses to my last post... WOOT! I am so excited that everyone can respond in one place... that's awesome... I didn't expect anyone to sign up in order to reply... I just figured bored people would read it and maybe e-mail me or something if they had a most urgent comment to make.
In response to some of the posts... YEAH BEKKI! :) I'm excited you got this and posted although it does not mean u can stop e-mailing... that is not an option :evil eye:
and yes Misty I do remember you... I even thought perhaps it was you making comments on Mavis' posts but it never occured to message you sorry... and on that note... Bekki is from WTSS too (I met quite a number of friends on there) she used to be Boo_kki :) (I remember cuz that's what the sign said that we held up at the airport when she came off the plane muhahaha) and as of this month... I've known Bekki for.. (98 - 2005??) 7 years bahaha *my math skills rock eh?!*
and Misty on that note, do u remember Jimmy? rockn4jc err something? muhaha I'm so horrible I can't remember. He's been in the army for a few years now and is getting married this month... I don't keep much contact with him since he went to Japan... but I still get occasional updates.

Alright, and now onto what this website is for... MY BLABBLE! :)
so lets see... what is there to talk about... how bout the fact that I really don't miss the skytrain :shudder: this morning, because I was house sitting in Surrey at my grandmas (well more like dog sitting... the house doesn't really need too much of a sitter... I think I should water plants though!?) I took the skytrain from Surrey to downtown... it wasn't too bad cuz I got on at like 6:30 ish... I KNOW IT WAS SO EVIL! I GOT UP AT LIKE 5:25 am... I think I beat the sun up... it burned my brain to be awake at 5:00 am... who invented 5:00 am anyways? So yeah.. I missed my west coast express train a lot this morning... :( but alas I must take the skytrain back to Surrey and perhaps even walk home from the station... which shouldn't be too bad... I've walked further. Although when I went for a brief walk in Surrey on Friday night (must note was still VERY light out and it was a nice walk for the first half) I guess I chose a wrong way and was sorta confronted by like 3 guys in a car who started yelling at me to come over and talk to them and then when I ignored them (skytrain people make u wise to even making eye contact with seedy individuals) they started calling me names and I was kinda concerned they'd follow me... but I made it home (err grandmas) safe and vowed to take my protective doggy with me next time... I'm generally much better than that cuz I'm usually paranoid... sometimes it slips my mind how paranoid I am and then something happens to remind me LOL

So now it should be interesting who remembers that I have this blog and replies at all... I got quite a number on the last one but that's probably cuz I mass e-mailed everyone at work so they all knew about it... hehe I think it defeats the purpose to mass e-mail people when I make a new blog hahah I may as well skip the blog and mass e-mail everyybody my blabble in general :)

Hope everyone had an awesome long weekend (I say this cuz Canadians finished it and Americans will have finished it by tomorrow... when most people might remember that I even have a boredom thingy to keep me occupied muahahaha)

So far so good... have not forgotten too much about this... here's to not having to write on my hand to remember to put in messages every so often... and also the hope that I can figure out the picture thing as well so I can start posting stupid pictures from my every day life... like the fresh prince of belair look a like that walks by my window sometimes hehehe must get a pic of him :) tis so fun for me.

cheers!
