puglets are trouble :p

Ugh... so I'm exhausted today... not only did I spend a TON of money this weekend on this little wrinkly bundle, but I lost sleep because she wants to play at 3:45 am apparently :p Shes super cute so she can get away with such nonsense but my poor body/brain.... its not prepared for such a lack of rest LOL.
I have pictures of her on my msn profile/myspace thing... along with the edmonton trip. I'll try to put a link to that page on here later :) anyways... went to bed at like 12:00 last night and got woken up at 3:45... tried to put her outside thinking she had to pee hence the whining at my bed... but noooooo she ran out ran back in and ran around my living room... stopping briefly to pick at the little stuffed ducky she has taken to chewing on... it was super cute though... her and Gaelen had a good little time with that ducky last night. I didn't even know she chewed on anything, my aunt said she didn't play with toys or anything. I picked up the ducky off the floor last night and offered it to her and that was it... in one swoop she had the ducky and had run off flinging it side to side as she went... with an intermittent snort here and there....
then this morning... after the whole not wanting to sleep incident (which I promptly remedied by going back to bed and firmly saying sleepy time the next whine I heard).... at like 6:45 in the morning she suddenly appeared on top of my bed... MY BED IS LIKE 4 feet in the air!!! I have a very tall bed... I have no idea how she got up there... she's got short little chicken legs! Anyways... so I let her cuddle up on my bed with me for an hour... in which she made the loudest snort and promptly stopped breathing... scared the crap out of me... poked her to make sure she was still alive... not sure she was enthused with that LOL I think my pug has sleep apnea. Anyways... took her for a walk this morning, washed her face (which she hates but she has crap in her wrinkles and junk so she'll learn to deal)... and put her breakfast down for her... I bought special stuff for her teeth cuz they are bad, but she's such a little princess she hasn't eaten any yet... she'll learn to though damit... that stuff isn't cheap and its good for her... :p
So thats my story... I'm barely functioning today but I'll manage... hopefully I don't have an exam today cuz I'll suck :p thats all there is to it... end of story... no brain power... no motor function... no coordination... almost tipped my computer chair over backwards trying to move around the office this morning... bah. Where's my coffee?

Ok, seeing as Bekki is complaining about my lack of posting here... and because I actually have something to post about... I'm making a post! YEAH GO ME!
So last weekend Gaelen and I took a lovely trip to Edmonton for a day.. well we were in Edmonton really for a day and two days travel LOL but the road trip part was fun, a little costly with our gas prices and such but not too bad otherwise... our butts fell asleep many times (thankfully we didnt LOL well I didnt :p) I drove both ways... left 3:30am Sat. got to the hotel at like 9:30 pm Edmonton time Sat and left 8:30 Edmonton time Monday and got home 8pm BC time. Bought a little bit and walked around the mall for awhile... saw "Over the Hedge" and had room service deliver us desserts :) Had never had room service before... it was super :)
So now onto the title of the post...

I AM GETTING ME A PUGGY! :) yep, tomorrow I am going to go pick up a pug affectionately been titled Annie as she is orphaned. She originally was someone's dog, then ended up with my cousin's ex girlfriend who has abandoned her at my cousin's house and won't answer or return any phone calls... so my cousin has offered said pug to me. She's a beautiful girl of unknown age or background who happens to be super social and lovely and has a thing for Gaelen already (but who wouldn't really.) So I am picking her up tomorrow, taking her to the veterinary clinic and doggy daycare to meet Izzy on neutral ground so Izzy doesn't try to eat Pica's face. Anyways....
This is my Picabeans... hopefully it will work out so I can keep her forever (my cousin's ex might ask for her back or something, who knows what can happen there, no one can get a hold of her... she's apparently on drugs at the moment).... but I know Pica (pronounced PEEKAH) will be happy with us... aas long as Izzy is good... she'll be pretty spoilt too. I find out tomorrow how old (approx) she is and how healthy she is, but she seems healthy from my brief exam :p

Bah I'm Slow

Ok, so I haven't written in here in almost a month (and I was doing so well before that... dangit!) and of course I have the typical excuse of being busy... but alas... it won't fly anymore cuz its overused... so I was sick :p
Anyways, I am having the hardest time concentrating today, blame it on my birthday... I'm now old... officially as of today... I'm 23 years OLD :s so no wonder I can't concentrate... I am entering the years of senality (sp?)... anyways, this past weekend I went camping with friends to celebrate my birthday and the weather was gorgeous... although the nights were retardedly cold... like frost on the ground no sleeping kinda cold. But the company, hot dogs and campfires were awesome and totally worth it :)
Today I ordered myself a diamond and white gold nose ring off ebay... super excited to get it but nervous I won't have the guts to take out the old one and put in the new one... with brooke having so many problems I'm afraid I'll go through the same and I'm super squeemish :s I have at least 1-2 weeks to figure it out hehehe :)
I should be doing the tons of work on my desk but every little thing is distracting me today... like dust and finger nails ... and its not going well. :s
This weekend coming up is a long weekend and I get to go to Edmonton with Gaelen... I'm super excited!!! should be awesome! We get to drive the 12-14 hrs each way... do some shopping, maybe a little site seeing... maybe stop at some vegetable stands or wineries or jammeries... :)
Anyways, hopefully everyone is doing well... I got a happy birthday text from Bekki yesterday that made me smile... and seeing as I was so stuffed with sushi I thought I'd explode... a smile was a tricky maneuvre :p hehehe
